Dear friends and family,

Thank you for praying for us. We received many encouragement notes from you to say that you are and have been praying. Thank you.

It seems my previous email might have been unclear...

Josephine is the one suffering from the gastric flu. She's much better today. Diarrhea and vomiting had stopped since last night but she's still pretty weak. Please pray that she'll regain her full strength and health.

Joylynn is recovering from her mouth injury. It has became an ulcer stretching half her upper lip. This affects her eating. Other than that, she's well, happy and fine. Pray that her wound will heal well and soon.

Please pray for us...

Last Friday night, Joylynn had a freak accident at home. She tripped over the step into the toilet, fell and hit her right cheek on the toilet bowl. Naturally, she was all in pain and tears and her mouth was full of blood. Upon calming her down, we saw that her tooth had cut into her mouth and there was a nasty injury in there. It was 10 pm and I spent the next two hours driving her to 3 places to finally see a doctor. Thankfully he said she's ok though we had to watch out for any signs of brain injury. So far so good. 

Then today, Jo called me at 2pm to say that she felt really ill and sick. I rushed home. It turned out that she has gastric flu, and until 8pm, had diarrhea for 4 times, and vomited 3 times. She's feverish, looks really pale and weak. She can't eat or drink and needs lots of rest.
